Dietary Supplements For Arm Toning

Unfortunately, most supplements don’t work. You see, congress approved the Dietary Supplement Health And Education act in 1994 which essentially deregulated the industry. As a result, the FDA has a very loose grip on the supplement industry.

Pretty much anyone can bottle almost anything and sell it as a supplement.

So, without further ado, here are some supplements that do work and won’t damage your health:

1. Coffee: Well, not really coffee, but its primary ingredient, caffeine, can turn a regular workout into a groundbreaking workout. You see, caffeine does a really good job at priming you adrenal glands for increased adrenalin secretion. And adrenalin is a key ingredient for increased exercise intensity.

2. Whey protein: Although not absolutely necessary, it helps get much needed protein to your active tissues immediately after your workout. You see, immediately after you exercise, your core temperature is so high that it blunts the hunger drive. Yet, this is a time when you need nutrients ASAP.

3. Supplemental carbs: Again, the best time to take supplemental carbs is right after a workout. And carbs are actually far more important than protein here. Your active tissues become hyper absorbent towards carbs right after you exercise.

4. Omega-3 pills: Now keep in mind that too much of anything can have serious health consequences, and omega-3 fats are no exception here. In fact, if you chronically have too much, you can increase oxidation in your heart. So please do not take fish oil if omega-3’s are already in your diet.

5. Multivitamin: Consumption of multivitamin supplements is recommended by Harvard University and has been shown to reduce chronic disease. They key here is to not over-supplement with exorbitant amounts of nutrients here. Don’t take multivitamins with more than 100% daily value of anything.

Although most supplements are ineffective, there are a select few that can make arm sculpting a little easier. Just remember that supplements are not going to do all the work for you. So proceed with moderation here!
